The project focused primarily on the development of high-quality laboratory furniture tailored to support both practical teaching and safe supervision within the laboratory space. In addition, the client required a specialised arrangement in which all fume cupboards could be viewed from the rear, allowing students to observe chemical reactions safely from a dedicated observation area.
This approach created a more functional and engaging teaching environment, combining robust, purpose-built laboratory furniture with carefully considered fume cupboard placement to improve both visibility and safety. By enabling demonstrations and experiments to be observed from behind the fume cupboards, the laboratory provides students with a clearer understanding of practical processes without compromising the controlled conditions needed for laboratory work.
